DD Crowley

DD has more than 20 years of experience in the credit union system and industry-related technology sectors. She specializes in credit union banking system conversions, national ATM and POS migrations, node implementations at the Interac level, implementations and support of payments and settlement systems, and EMV/chip technology programs. DD relishes a challenge. She brings her unique blend of fearlessness and compassion to ‘mission impossible’–the complex and multi-organization projects that have what seem to be impossible timelines, impossible delivery schedules and impossible budgets. DD’s career experiences allow her to provide an ‘end to end’ view of payments and projects when working with credit unions, provincial Centrals, Canadian Central and related technology providers. DD is a tireless champion of credit unions and inspirational leader of her consulting team. She is President and CEO of D & D Consulting and Management Services Ltd.

Catherine Elliott

Catherine is recognized as a leading expert in strategic planning, project management, business re-engineering, training, banking system conversions, and ATM and POS switching environments, including EMV/chip technology. She brings over 30 years of experience in the financial services and information technology sectors. Catherine started her career in the credit union system and quickly progressed to senior management in a progressive, multi-branch credit union. She was responsible for the strategic management of a variety of business development, training, and business re-engineering activities before entering the field of project management and consulting in 1998. Her comprehensive consulting background also includes credit union credit card consulting and software training and consulting. Catherine’s perceptive insights, coupled with her action-oriented style, have helped many organizations re-think and then exceed their strategic objectives. Catherine is the President and CEO of CA Elliott Management Consulting Inc.

Douglas Whalen

Doug has an exceptional understanding of the Canadian credit union system’s business and technology environments, drawn from 30 years experience working with Centrals, credit unions and service providers.  At Credit Union Central of Canada, Doug led the Payments area and developed an integrated Debit and Credit Card Strategy to help credit unions understand and adapt to the dramatic technological, competitive and regulatory changes underway in the card services market.  He has served as an expert witness to the federal government Senate and Commons committees reviewing the debit and credit card industry as well as in consultations for the Code of Conduct for the Debit and Credit Card Industry.   Doug led the development of national strategies for emerging technologies and services including Electronic Cash, Wealth Management, Lending Automation, Electronic Banking, Group Procurement, and National Connectivity.  Credit unions and technology providers rely on his depth of knowledge to guide their business, technology and product strategies.  From understanding requirements, to comparative market analysis of options, to negotiation of contracts, Doug is relentlessly passionate about helping organizations to maximize the value of their technology and business processes.  Doug joined the D & D team in 2010.

Sheryl Britton

Sheryl has held senior executive level and numerous management positions within the financial services industry, predominately in the credit union system. Throughout her career, Sheryl has developed expertise in technology systems, business banking, operations and marketing departments. She has more than 30 years of experience working within credit union operations, and leading technology departments both in a customer and vendor environment. She is a strategic thinker and is recognized as being a leading expert in strategic planning, business process improvement, identification and implementation of business solutions, IT governance, business continuity planning and project management. She has brought her experience on many banking system conversions, Merchant, ATM and POS transaction processing environments, settlement systems and credit and debit card/payment systems, and has extensive experience in vendor management and outsourcing. Sheryl has been privileged to be a contributing or leading member on many national and provincial credit union committees and initiatives, and has sat as a contributing or leading member on many industry wide technology committees. Her experiences and positive attitude enable Sheryl to provide an exceptional comprehensive experience to clients. Sheryl holds a Masters in Business Administration, an Advanced Graduate Diploma in Management, Certificate in Administration and is ITIL certified. Sheryl joined the D & D team in 2011.

Moe Eldishnawy

For more than 10 years, Moe has been assisting financial institutions and financial services providers understand, implement and integrate latest payment technologies. With experience that spans Eastern/Central Europe, UK, Middle East, Africa and North America, he has the exposure and first hand experience in the latest payment technologies, electronic transaction processing including Merchant POS transaction processing and ABM device management. Moe has spent the last decade contributing to the successful implementation of many electronic payment technologies as they became available in the international market, including the European and Canadian migration to EMV platforms. During his career, he has driven initiatives for issuing various types of card products, acquiring through multiple channels, migrations of platforms and the solutions design and integration of such. Moe is known as an extremely articulate, enthusiastic and dedicated professional. In 2008, Everlink Payment Services Inc. (a large integrated payment solutions provider in Canada) recruited Moe from the UK to bring his EMV expertise to the EMV Migration Program. This Program was successful in meeting Interac compliance targets for both issuing and acquiring channels for Everlink’s credit union and bank clients. With the conclusion of the Everlink EMV program and with many other new payment technology solutions on the horizon (e.g. Contactless, Mobile, NFC, Intelligent Kiosks), Moe began his consulting firm (EFT Experts Inc.) and is actively providing consultancy and training services in the Canadian and International market. Moe holds a B.Sc. degree of Computer Engineering is a Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) and recently achieved his ITIL Foundation certification. EFT Experts began partnering with the D & D team in 2011.

Vicki Craig

Vicki understands both people and technology. As a senior account executive with a global IT firm, Vicki excelled at providing responsive solutions to meet client needs, including introducing clients to innovative approaches and new products. As a senior business analyst, she was involved in conversions, data mapping, problem management, QA testing, writing detailed test scripts, client system verification, gap functionality, training, and mergers. She also has extensive experience in writing and responding to requests for information (RFIs) and requests for proposals (RFPs). Her diverse skill set ranges from business development and strategic planning to new system implementation and conversions. We welcomed Vicki to the D & D Consulting team in 2009.

Tilda Boutillier

Tilda really understands the operations within a financial institutions.  With over thirty years experience, she knows how and why a system or process needs to be in place.  Tilda’s experience ranges from her knowledge gained as a teller, as an operational branch manager and in supporting administration roles within financial institutions and data processing suppliers.  Adding to this her ten years as a project manager at Credit Union Central of Canada, her organizational skills are very well honed.  Tilda’s strengths lie in enabling cohesive teamwork between internal management, internal technical staff and external management and in striving for the ideal process for maximum effectiveness and efficiency.  While in her role at Canadian Central, her projects included the National Communication Subcommittee for EMV/chip, projects related to the ATM switching environment, National Connectivity, Electronic Cheque Presentment (TECP), Internet Banking, Bill presentment and P2P Payments.  Tilda joined the D&D team in 2011.
